An electrifying fielder, a budding wicket-keeper and the latest in the line of modern English batsmen who’ve taken the limited overs world by storm, Billings has quickly become a T20 veteran.
He rose to prominence in 2012 when he finished as Kent’s highest scorer that season in both limited overs tournaments the same season he turned 21. Since then he’s become a regular for the England Lions team, for whom he scored a career high 175 in a 50-over game against Pakistan A, and has been on the fringes of the England national team over the past two years.
2017 was a disappointing year in the England shirt for Billings but he became renowned for his consistency in the T20 circuit. He averaged 33 (@ SR149) in the Natwest Blast to go along with averages in excess of 30 and strike rates in excess of 125 in both the Big Bash League and the PSL.
Billings will play his third season of the PSL in 2018, and is sure to entertain the world with his batting and his renditions of “Dil Dil Pakistan”.
