The shining star in the next generation of Pakistani batsmen, Sahibzada Farhan has had quite the last year and a half. He made his First Class debut as late as October 2016 but has since made up for lost time. His breakthrough performance was in the season ending Pakistan Cup where he finished as the third highest scorer, scoring a fifty plus score in each of his five innings, including a maiden List A hundred in the final of the tournament. The fact that he scored these runs at a Strike Rate in excess of 100 also made the fans and the board take notice, and rumors abounded of him being a surprise selection for the national team in their problem position.
As yet he hasn’t played for Pakistan, but if 2017 is any indication that only seems a matter of time. He has a chance to introduce himself to the masses in the PSL 3, which will be his first edition of the PSL.
